A FIT DMC is a trade-only partner that builds and runs tailor-made trips for independent travellers. We book the hotels, transfers, trains, guides and experiences at net rates, issue every document under your brand, and support your clients on the ground while they travel.
A ten-night trip for a couple looks simple on the itinerary. Behind it sit three or four hotels, a private transfer on every arrival and departure, two or three train journeys, timed tickets for the sights that sell out, a guide for a morning or two, and a dinner reservation the client will remember. Each booking is small. The trip only works when all of them fit together, on the right day and at the right time.
That is the work we take off your desk. We plan independent trips across 24 European nations on one agreement, so a client moving from Lisbon to Vienna to Prague still has one supplier behind them. As a wider Europe DMC we also handle the group tours and MICE side of the same account.

The Details Independent Travellers Notice
Independent clients have no tour leader to fix things for them, so the small details decide how the trip feels. The Louvre is closed on Tuesdays and the Musée d'Orsay on Mondays. The Vatican Museums close on Sundays, apart from the last Sunday of the month. Leonardo's Last Supper in Milan and the Nasrid Palaces at the Alhambra are sold by timed slot and sell out weeks ahead, and Alhambra tickets carry the visitor's name, which must match the passport.
We plan around all of it. Sightseeing days are checked against each museum's closing day before the itinerary is sent, timed tickets are booked as soon as the dates are confirmed, and arrival days are kept light, because most hotels only release rooms from about 3 pm and expect guests out by 11 am. City taxes in Rome, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona are charged per person per night and usually paid at the hotel, so we tell your clients in advance rather than letting it surprise them at check-out.

What is a FIT DMC?
A FIT DMC is a trade-only partner that plans and runs tailor-made trips for independent travellers. FIT stands for free independent traveller: individuals, couples, families and small parties travelling on their own itinerary rather than with a group. The DMC books the hotels, transfers, trains, guides and experiences at net rates, issues the documents under your brand and supports the travellers on the ground. You keep the client and set the price.
How is a FIT trip different from a group tour?
A group tour runs one itinerary for many travellers, usually with a coach and a tour leader. A FIT trip is built around one client's dates, interests and budget, with private or shared transfers, trains between cities and free time where the client wants it. There is no tour leader on the road, so the planning has to be more careful and the support line matters more.
How quickly can you send a quote?
We reply to every request within one business day. A straightforward trip, such as two or three cities with hotels and transfers, usually comes back as a full itinerary with net prices in that time. A longer or more unusual trip may take a little longer, and we tell you when to expect it.
What do you need from us to start?
The travel dates or month, the number of travellers and their ages if children are travelling, the places your client has in mind, the hotel style they prefer and a budget if you have one. Dietary needs, mobility needs and special occasions such as a honeymoon or anniversary help us get it right first time.
Can you book sights that sell out, like the Last Supper or the Alhambra?
Yes. Timed-entry sights such as Leonardo's Last Supper in Milan, the Nasrid Palaces at the Alhambra and the Vatican Museums are booked as soon as your client's dates are confirmed, because the popular slots go weeks ahead. Alhambra tickets are issued in the visitor's name, so we need names exactly as they appear on the passports.
Will the vouchers and itinerary carry our brand?
Yes. Everything your client receives, from the day-by-day itinerary to the hotel and transfer vouchers, is issued under your brand. Drivers and guides know they are working for your agency, so your client sees one company from start to finish.
Can you plan rail journeys between countries?
Yes, and rail is often the best way to link cities in Europe. Eurostar connects London and Paris in about 2 hours 15 minutes, Rome to Florence takes about 1 hour 30 minutes by fast train, and Florence to Venice about 2 hours. We reserve seats, plan how the luggage moves and book a transfer at each station, and we include scenic routes such as the Glacier Express in Switzerland, about 8 hours from Zermatt to St. Moritz, where they suit the trip.
Can a tailor-made trip be added to a group tour or a conference?
Yes. Many of our FIT bookings are extensions: a few nights in Paris after a group tour, a weekend in the Alps after a congress, or a family joining a business traveller at the end of a trip. Because we also run the group and MICE side, the extension is booked as part of the same file, with one contract and one invoice.
